Aurora Arts Theatre Opens The Rocky Horror Show to Kick Off the Halloween Season

A Coastal Bend tradition continues during Aurora’s 15th anniversary year

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Aurora Arts Theatre will kick off the Halloween season with the return of The Rocky Horror Show, which opens Friday, September 19 and runs through Saturday, November 2, 2025. Sponsored by Garcia & Richmond, the cult-classic musical marks Aurora’s fifteenth production of Rocky Horror and continues a Coastal Bend tradition that has drawn sold-out audiences for over a decade.

Directed by Dylan Rios and assistant directed by Laurie Guajardo, this year’s production brings the iconic characters and electrifying music back to the Aurora stage for a one-of-a-kind experience filled with audience participation and a live band.

“Rocky Horror has become a Coastal Bend tradition,” said Mary Chapa, Owner and Executive Director of Aurora Arts Theatre. “Each year, our audiences bring unmatched energy and remind us why live theatre is so special.”

Performances run Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. in September, and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. in October, including special shows on October 30 and 31 at 7:30 p.m.
