A holiday experience that’s fun for the whole family.
Corpus Christi, Texas (November 26, 2021) – This holiday season, the Aurora Arts Theatre (AAT) is excited to announce its upcoming winter musical, the Winter Wonderettes, written and created by Roger Bean.
Directed by Peter Lopez and choreographed by Christin Espinoza, The Winter Wonderettes is a holiday classic about a group of girls who are entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. Next thing they know, Santa turns up missing! The girls then have to use their talent and creative ingenuity to save the holiday party! This show features great 60’s versions of holiday classics such as “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and “Winter Wonderland.”
“I am very excited to be directing this year’s revival of Winter Wonderettes,” said AAT Show director, Peter Lopez. “Our patrons can expect fun, laughter and a sense of nostalgia. I fell in love with this show the first time I worked on it.”
