About the Show

When 38 planes were unexpectedly diverted to Gander on September 11, 2001, nearly 7,000 stranded passengers found themselves in a small town far from home. The people of Gander opened their doors, homes, and hearts — creating unexpected friendships and a story of generosity that moved the world.

Come From Away shares these true stories with music, humor, and humanity in an unforgettable theatrical experience.
